The Company
Oroborus is a private company based in Brisbane, Australia. It was founded in 2012 to develop chemical technology for making peptide mimetics. Our technology is wholly owned by the company with no outside academic or commercial rights or encumbrances (as of 2019).
The Founder
Oroborus was founded by Peter Cassidy, an organic and medicinal chemist with over 20 years experience developing peptide mimetics. Peter holds a first class honours degree and PhD from the University of Queensland. He has prior experience raising commercial and grant funds, and has won a number of academic awards. His previous company placed a molecule into Phase II clinical trials.
